Game 29: Ice at Waterloo

The Ice hit the halfway point of the USHL season this weekend, making a brief roadtrip to Waterloo tonight before returning home to face Youngstown on Saturday night for the third time in just over a week.

The Ice have been on a roll, going 6-0-2 in their last eight, and they now possess the second-best record in the entire USHL. Waterloo -- which switched conferences with Dubuque this year -- is one of the contenders in the Western Conference.

The Ice have made a couple of personnel moves. Justin Bailey, called up for the two games against Youngstown from the affiliate list, has returned to his team in Long Island. Goaltender Cam Lerner is listed by Pointstreak as being on the roster. He will wear No. 30. No changes were made to the Ice protected list as of Jan. 2.

Waterloo has also gone through a bit of a roster change. Joe Rehkamp, who scored two goals against the Ice on Oct. 29, is no longer with the team.
