Ice's Fallon commits to UVM

The Indiana Ice's Jacob Fallon has committed to continue his collegiate career at the University of Vermont.

Fallon, who is in his second stint with the Ice, will have three years of NCAA eligibility remaining. He began the 2010-11 season at the University of Michigan before returning to the USHL and the Ice for this season.

Paired with Daniil Tarasov and either Sean Kuraly or Robbie Baillargeon for much of the year, Fallon is centering the USHL's highest-scoring line, and ranks near the top of the league in scoring, with eight goals and 18 assists -- the latter total second-best in the league.

He will join former Icemen Ben Albertson and Brett Bruneteau with the Catamounts. Teammate Ian Spencer has also committed to Vermont.

Fallon is the 13th current Ice player to make a college commitment.
