Game 14: Ice at Waterloo

The back half of a two-game weekend commences Saturday night as the Ice visit the Waterloo Black Hawks.

The Ice extended their fine road record with a 3-2 shootout victory in Cedar Rapids Friday night. Waterloo has won two straight, including a 6-3 drubbing of defending Clark Cup champion Dubuque Friday night at home. Both teams are in third place in their respective USHL divisions. Both also feature two of the USHL's top scorers in the Ice's Daniil Tarasov (20 points) and Waterloo's Taylor Cammarata (15 points). And they've split two meetings so far.

Interestingly, three of the Ice's last four games have gone to OT/SO. Friday's win over CR was the Ice's first in those game and their second victory in a game tied at the end of regulation this season.
