Congrats to the Bruins

And several former Indianapolis Ice players who are part of the 2011 Stanley Cup champion Boston Bruins in some way.

Ex-Icemen Adam Creighton and Dean Malkoc are scouts for the Bruins, while former Ice player and coach Bruce Cassidy was the assistant coach for the AHL affiliate in Providence. Cassidy worked out the "Black Aces," the P-Bruins players who came up and worked out with the big club in Boston just in case they'd be needed to play in the postseason.

  1. Congratulations to the Bruins. They have the NHL's best two players at their positions in Chara and Thomas, and this is why Boston won the Cup. Awesome performance.
